Students will read and discuss Thornton Wilder’s classical play, Our Town , and use it as a springboard for writing both fiction and nonfiction. They will also read and discuss linked short stories, poems and historical excerpts to flesh out their understanding of the literature and to exercise their critical thinking skills.
